Check in from 3pm to 8pm (unless by prior arrangement)
Check out time is 10 am

Cancellation Policy

Flexible Cancellation:
You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 12 noon, 48 hours prior to arrival. Bookings cancelled thereafter will be charged the cost of the first night booked

Advance Purchase:
A credit or debit card is required to charge full pre-payment at the time of booking. This is non-refundable and non-transferable

Children & Extra Bed Policy

Children and families are welcome to stay. Our family room can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Please feel free to bring your own travel cot.

Credit Cards

The hotel accepts Visa, Mastercard & Amex. Diners Club is not accepted.

Damages

An additional cleaning cost will be applied in the event of damage to linen and/or any furnishings. Should a room require excessive cleaning, appropriate charges will be made. Any additional damage to property within The Rose & Crown will be at the cost of the guest.

Internet

WiFi is available throughout the hotel and is free of charge.

Parking

Car park is free of charge, subject to availability.

Pets

Dogs are only allowed in the bar and outside areas.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted within the hotel. We have 2 open courtyards located at the front and rear of the Inn for those who wish to smoke.

Room Keys

Please leave room keys at Reception if going out for the day and at check out. Lost keys will be charged at £35.00.

VAT

VAT at the current rate is included.

Accessible Information

All of the bedrooms at The Rose & Crown are accessed via stairs, being a listed building there is no lift access to the guest rooms.

We spent 3 nights. Rooms are large, food is great, atmosphere excellent, people are nice and helpful. Very good location to explore stonehange, Bath, Gloster, and the small villages.

After a Sunday afternoon walk along the ridgeway to work up an appetite, we were glad to find the pub still doing food. 3 delicious roast dinners later and 3 very satisfied customers. Generous portions and I can certainly vouch for the slow cooked pork belly, delicious!

This is an absolute gem of a place. Just spent 2 nights there to meet up with family. Beautiful village location, clean and comfortable rooms , excellent food , but what really made it special were the lovely staff. Literally, they could not do enough for you. Will definitely go again.
